WEEK 7 : INDIVIDUAL ROLES IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!!! As we all know about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that we learned in the first week, I will talk more about these goals and what we should do to achieve them? The higher authorities are not the only person that plays their roles in achieving SDG but we, a regular person should also take our part to do the same thing. Now, I am going to talk about the roles of individuals in sustainable development.

We can start by doing the smallest deed by feeding the animals like stray cats or dogs. Even it is just a small deed, it also give a big impact on the animals because we can save them from hunger and death. It is aligned with goal 15 which is life on land where we can sustain the ecosystem from being destroyed. Moreover, we can also try to replant some trees in our neighborhood so that we can reduce global warming and climate change on our planet. This action can also reduce pollutions like air and water pollutions because the trees can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

Furthermore, we can also spread the information about Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) via social media, campaign posters, and any kind of internet platform. It will help others to understand more about the concept of SDGs and it can make others realize how important the SDGs to our earth. The more people know, the better it is. No matter how small our deeds are, it still big progress for our beautiful planet. 🌏

Therefore, let's work together in order to preserve our home from being destroyed.
